How to find us
The Engineering Subject Centre is based at Loughborough University, Leicestershire, and is easily accessible by road, rail or air.
How to find us on Campus:
The Engineering Subject Centre is located in the Sir David Davies Building (marked Entrance A on our pdf map) in the West Park of the Loughborough University Campus, close to the Departments of Physics and Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

The easiest route is to enter the Sir David Davies Building through
Entrance A (Physics) at the rear of the building (to the left of the Reception of Burleigh Court Conference Centre).
Turn right through the double doors to the Centre's offices.

By road:
From M1 junction 23, follow signs towards Loughborough. After passing the Quality Hotel (about one mile from the M1) follow the signs to Burleigh Court Conference Centre.

From the A6, follow signs to the University, and then we recommend that you continue towards the Motorway and follow signs to Burleigh Court. You can use the Main (Epinal) Entrance but you will then have to find your way across campus!
Inform the Security Officer that you are visiting the Engineering Subject Centre, they will give you a visitors pass and will be able to advise about parking.
Wheelchair users only : you are advised to follow signs to Burleigh Court, pass through the blue barriers and park as near as possible to the Sir David Davies Building Entrance A. Follow directions above to the Centre which is accessible by wheelchair. Please contact the Centre and we will secure a pass for when you leave.
By rail:
East Midlands Train services call at Loughborough Station. The University Shuttle bus (Sprint) runs every 10 minutes (20 minutes during vacations) between the Railway Station and the University, journey time is approximately 20 minutes and costs £1.50 single. Get off the bus at the stop for Mechanical Engineering. Walk through the passage under Electrical Engineering towards the Physics Entrance.
Taxis are available from the Station. Ask to be taken to Burleigh Court Conference Centre, journey time about 10 minutes, cost approximately £7.
By air:
East Midlands Airport is about 8 miles from Loughborough University. Taxis are available at the Airport.
