Northern Ireland
The Engineering Subject Centre has department contacts at over 80% of engineering departments across the UK and works closely through its contacts and its Associates to engage with staff in all departments. It does this through its department contacts,visits, development workshops, Open-Call Mini-Project funding, and its Teaching Award scheme.
The Centre has made a number of visits to the two HEIs who offer degree programmes in engineering, to meet with staff and to promote its resources provision and support available in supporting change. A Mini-Project has recently been funded at Queens University Belfast.
Higher Education Academy
The Higher Education Academy has a specific webpage for Northern Ireland; the webpage highlights the latest developments in that nation’s activities in higher education.
