Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre

The new centre incorporates Loughborough’s existing engCETL and the HEA’s Engineering Subject Centre and supports the four Engineering Schools and the Loughborough Design School. Following the launch event at Loughborough University on Monday 19th September, the University set out its long term commitment to engineering and design education both within and beyond the university’s boundaries to ensure the continuation of the work of both the EngSC and engCETL. 

The launch event saw the start of a regular seminar series for engineering and design educators at Loughborough which started with invited speakers from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia to give a seminar on collaborative learning for academics.
