Informing policy
The Engineering Subject Centre has a commitment to informing and influencing policy, through: ‘brokering between engineering academics and policy makers’; ‘synthesising and interpreting the impact of policy for engineering departments’; and, ‘providing evidence to inform those who influence policy’. Work in this area has a focus on engagement and joint activities with professional bodies and agencies in the engineering sector.
