Engineering Subject Centre Special Interest Groups

Introduction

The Engineering Subject Centre offers support for Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to encourage the discussion and exchange of information of particular learning and teaching issues from an engineering perspective. The overall aim of each group is to develop an active network of people who are interested in sharing information and supporting others. This gives members the opportunity to exchange experiences and identify and develop good practices that will be beneficial to the wider engineering community as well as themselves.

Each Special Interest Group has a Co-ordinator or Steering Group whose task it is to facilitate and co-ordinate activities carried out by the group and who is responsible for reporting on the progress of the SIG to the Engineering Subject Centre. The centre has funded a number of SIGs to date, details are avaliable on the SIG List webpage.
