The Engineering Subject Centre's Teaching Award 2009

Recognising and rewarding excellence in engineering education

The finalists of the Engineering Subject Centre Teaching Award 2009 were invited to an awards presentation at the Enhancing Project Based Learning Workshop, Loughborough University. The Engineering Subject Centre would like to extend their congratulations to all of those awarded and the overall winner, Mike Clifford, University of Nottingham who was presented with his award and £500 towards future conference expenses. The winners are pictured below with Deborah Seddon, Deputy Director, Formation, ECUK.

Introduction

The Engineering Subject Centre Teaching Award provides an opportunity for engineering academics to receive national recognition for their outstanding learning and teaching practices. The Engineering Subject Centre would like to identify engineering academics who are using teaching methodologies that have been proven to enhance the student learning experience.
